Job Description

Position : Sr Accountant (female candidates)
Qualification : BCom
Experience : 5 yrs
Location : Navi Mumbai.
First class Rly pass would be provided for the candidate.
Working hours. 10.00 to 6.00pm
Working days : Monday to Friday.
Saturday and Sunday Holidays
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting and banking activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Handle all basic statutory filings - TDS, GST, PF/ESIC for the company
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and collections.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Communicate and work with Indian authorities (like IT department, GST Department, etc.) for company-related work
  • Work with company finance consultants i.e. CA for compliance-related activities, including but not limited to financial documentation
  • Facilitate all audits for the company. Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers and contractors to track costs, prepare cost reports, and maintain project accounting records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and project management, to achieve company objectives.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in commerce or a related field; Semi-Qualified CA or equivalent certification would be preferred.
  • 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Banking, Accounts, GST, TDS and statutory compliance is a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Tally, etc.).
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
