Job description
Role & responsibilities

1. Corporate Legal Advisory:
Provide legal counsel on complex matters related to corporate governance, compliance, and company policies.
Advise on commercial and labour laws, particularly those relevant to IT and Data Protection Act (DPA) provisions.
2. Contract Drafting & Negotiation:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor and client contracts, Group level MSA, entity level service agreements, software -outright sale and SaaS based agreements and partnership agreements, agreement with vendors for services, rental agreements and Consultant agreements
Ensure timely renewal, renegotiation, and termination of contracts as required.
3. Labour Law Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and workplace policies and ESOP implementation.
Provide strategic advice on employee relations, including disputes, termination, and workforce management.
4. Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
Lead legal discussions with internal and external stakeholders for the closure of agreements.
Effective communication with clients, vendors, and third parties to resolve legal issues and ensure contract compliance.
5. Notice to Defaulters:
Manage the issuance of legal notices to defaulters and handle subsequent legal actions in collaboration with the litigation team if required.
6. Risk Management & Advisory:
Advise senior management on potential legal risks and recommend solutions to mitigate these risks in contracts and other legal documents.
Act as a strategic partner to the business on legal and regulatory matters related to contracts and labour laws.


Qualifications & Skills:
Law degree from a recognized university.
Candidate profile:
Experience in the IT sector or working with technology companies is a plus.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and DPA
