Job description

Role & responsibilities

  • Perform monthly financial close activities, which include preparation of accruals, performing reconciliations, booking journal entries, maintaining internal control documentation and perform required reconciliations.
  • Perform Direct and Indirect Tax compliances including TDS, GST and Income tax returns and payment of statutory dues.
  • Accounting and reconciliation of TDS, GST, Advance Income tax and other statutory dues.
  • Handling Tax Audits and liaison with the authorities and responding to notices, participating in hearing etc.
  • Assist in budget/forecast preparation and tracking actuals to budgets/forecasts and provide early guidance.
  • Prepare reports and financial presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial information.
  • Drawing necessary reports from Oracle Financials and ensuring books of accounts are upto date maintaining the essential reconciliations
  • Performing and reviewing of the applicable Controls and ensuring effective working of the overall control framework.
  • Preparation of Financial statements on monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Attend to the requirements of internal and external audits in accordance with local accounting, US GAAP, IFRS and SOX guidelines.
  • Perform Company secretarial functions for small private limited company including convening Board meetings, Board meetings and perform applicable compliances of Companies Act including filing of necessary returns.
  • Support service center managers with respect to services billing and support in tracking actuals to budgets and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices with appropriate supportings in line with approval matrix.
  • Treasury and cash management activities including payment processing, banking relationships and fund management.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and perform key account controls in line with policy.
  • Assist process owners to drive process development, optimization and alignment across GBS services.
  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders to support global projects by performing excel analysis and building impactful presentations.
  • Support implementation / changes in IT systems to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile
Qualified CA/CMA
7+ years of experience post qualification.
