Legal Officer, 0 to 1 years in Thrissur

Job Description

• Ensure proper appearance/representation (viz by Court Appearance Staff as well as engaged Advocate) in litigations filed by or against organization in time in the region.
• Timely updation of cases in jus suit.
• Follow up pending litigation matter for effective closure.
• Review all petitions, written statements, counter objections etc., pro-actively.
• Overseeing the legal aspects of business operations and transactions of the region.
• Managing relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
• Developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the organizations interests.
• Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in laws and regulations.
• Provide and interpret legal information and disseminate appropriate legal requirements in business operations.
• Review and advise business to enable to execute better and mitigate risk.
• Review and provide legal inputs/advice on business contracts and agreements.
• Prepare recommendations for corrective action when non-compliance with statues noticed.
• Ensure execution of agreements within agreed time.
• Timely initiation of legal tackers/reports to HO Legal Team.
• Render cross functions to understand legal implications by special updates.
• To work closely with other functions and help to resolve issues amicably and efficiently.
• Co-ordinate with HO Legal Team for the proper implementation of instructions, updation and case management.
