Job description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Company Secretarial Services to join our team at a prominent listed company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance and compliance, particularly with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all necessary documentation with BSE and NSE, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the organization of quarterly meetings, including agenda setting, coordination of logistics, and distribution of materials.
  • Facilitate board meetings, ensuring that minutes are accurately recorded and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Take charge of addressing a backlog of 2 to 2.5 years in compliance filings and corporate governance documentation, implementing streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all corporate governance standards are met, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and trends in corporate governance, and advise the board and management accordingly.
Qualifications:

  • A qualified Company Secretary (CS) with relevant professional experience in a listed company.
  • Proven track record in managing corporate secretarial functions, particularly with BSE and NSE.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex compliance challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with board members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and resolving backlogs and implementing effective compliance processes.
