Job description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Company Secretarial Services to join our team at a prominent listed company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance and compliance, particularly with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all necessary documentation with BSE and NSE, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the organization of quarterly meetings, including agenda setting, coordination of logistics, and distribution of materials.
- Facilitate board meetings, ensuring that minutes are accurately recorded and distributed in a timely manner.
- Take charge of addressing a backlog of 2 to 2.5 years in compliance filings and corporate governance documentation, implementing streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all corporate governance standards are met, and provide guidance on best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and trends in corporate governance, and advise the board and management accordingly.
Qualifications:
- A qualified Company Secretary (CS) with relevant professional experience in a listed company.
- Proven track record in managing corporate secretarial functions, particularly with BSE and NSE.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex compliance challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with board members and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and resolving backlogs and implementing effective compliance processes.
