Position: DVP/VP – Business Development Group and Private Equity
Qualification: MBA/PGDM - Finance from premier institute or CA/CFA
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Location: Mumbai (Churchgate)
JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. **Deal Execution:**
- Lead end-to-end execution of sell-side deals, from planning to closure.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies and identify potential buyers.
- Oversee multiple transactions simultaneously.
2. **Transaction Structuring & Negotiation:**
- Structure deals and negotiate terms with buyers.
- Prepare financial models, valuations, and manage legal conditions.
3. **Due Diligence:**
- Supervise the due diligence process and address issues promptly.
- Coordinate with legal and financial teams for compliance.
4. **Relationship Management:**
- Maintain relationships with investment banks, buyers, and stakeholders.
- Provide updates to senior leadership throughout the deal process.
5. **Strategic Exit Planning:**
- Develop exit strategies aligned with investment goals.
- Assess market conditions to determine optimal exit timing.
6. **Risk Management & Compliance:**
- Mitigate risks in transactions and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders.
