Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organizations goals and growth.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Identify key performance metrics to drive business success and track financial performance against goals.
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and investment opportunities.
  • Present financial information and insights to the board, executive team, and stakeholders.
  1. Risk Management and Compliance
  • Manage risk by identifying financial, legal, and operational risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal policies.
  • Oversee audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory filings.
  1. Capital Management
  • Oversee capital structure, including debt management, cash flow, and liquidity planning.
  • Assess and manage investment opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Establish strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
  1. Operational Efficiency
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in finance operations.
  • Oversee the management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Implement technology solutions and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  1. Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Identify training needs and provide growth opportunities for finance team members.
