Role & responsibilities
- Will be responsible for the initial and continuous onboarding, training and development of a team of analysts; creating and maintaining internal SOP documents and supporting collateral; and continuously educate and operate to the global standard of excellence.
- Oversee Quality Control over Lease abstractions performed by the Lease Abstraction team and OSP partner; partner with GBS and market stakeholders on the root cause analysis and proactive solution recommendations
- Oversee running month end processes such as rental processing, accrual and Oracle rental increase programs and bulk Oracle data loads
- Attend to the requirements of internal and external audits in accordance with local accounting, US GAAP, IFRS and SOX guidelines; operate the data governance process for the markets served by the service center, ensuring that internal information controls are complied with by clients and information requestors
- Analyze and report monthly metrics to demonstrate the performance against agreed SLAs as established in the service level agreements and proactively identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate closely with Service Delivery Team Leads and other GBS leaders to ensure consistent levels of customer service, troubleshoot challenges and provide continuous improvement and efficiency in day-to-day transactions,
- Participate in implementation of system and process improvements to drive efficiencies and scalability
- Support service center managers in preparing ad-hoc analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum of 8-10 years of transaction processing, data quality control and accounting experience required in high volume environment preferably in a commercial real estate setup.
- At least 4-5 years of managerial experience; preferably of globally dispersed teams; experience with creating and delivering training materials strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ground lease and landlord relation parameters and able to work with large accounting processes from source transaction through to general ledger close with high volume
- Experience in the use of excel for data manipulation & analytics is required.
- Extensive knowledge in the usage of Oracle systems to improve transactional efficiency
- Knowledge of finance & data analysis from an operational perspective is required and experience in Property Manager or New Lease Accounting Standard (ASC842 and IndAS116) would be preferred
- Strong organization, planning, and project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements and deadlines
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business process execution or experience in a shared services / commercial real estate environment preferred.
- Strong leadership skills: ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.
